While working as a maintenance Engineer over the years i have seen tonnes of various metal parts thrown into scrap bins. It’s always hard for me to let these materials go to waste so i am always looking for ways to give them a new life and save them from the scrap heap.

One day i decided to see if i could transform some random metal parts from the scrap bin into something new, something that showed how ordinary parts and materials that had fulfilled their purpose in industry could be given a new life.

My first sculpture was this butterfly which has found a home in the garden on the way to my workshop and serves as a reminder of that simple concept and i have never looked at scrap metal the same way.

i hope to challenge people to repurpose or reuse materials and give them a new life.
